  • Providing improved efficiency and integration of NSW Health's support services
  • Increasing levels of customer service
  • Providing increased support to clinical prescribers

The EnableNSW Aids and Equipment Program

EnableNSW provides support for clients requiring aids for continence issues through The Aids and Equipment Program.

The Aids and Equipment Program assists eligible residents of NSW, who have a life-long or long-term disability, to live and participate within their community by providing appropriate equipment, aids and appliances.

EnableNSW policy requires eligible consumers seeking financial aid for continence products to use up their CAPS allocation each year before they are permitted to access assistance through EnableNSW.

Eligibility

EnableNSW eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • Be a permanent resident of NSW
  • Have a permanent or long-term disability (lasting more than 12 months)
  • Require technological assistance for a condition that has stabilised
