Movember is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health. The Movember event raises awareness around men's health issues and funds for carefully selected beneficiary partners that are also charitable organisations, with a focus on prostate cancer and depression in men.
 
4-7 November National Conference on Incontinence

The multidisciplinary conference program will provide a platform for the latest and best in the field of incontinence, attracting speakers and presenters from around Australia and overseas.  The conference will also offer an ideal opportunity to access the most committed medical, nursing, physiotherapy and specialist health professionals in the incontinence field and combine a comprehensive trade exhibition concurrent with an excellent scientific program. 7 November Spinal Injuries Association gala dinner

The Spinal Injuries Association gala dinner will officially launch Spinal Injuries Awareness Week. An expected 350 guests will attend the event with a giant raffle where on guest at every table will win a prize and back by popular demand – diva Lisa Hunt and her band Forever Soul.

8-14 November Spinal Injuries Awareness Week

A spinal cord injury can happen to anyone at any time. Such an injury doesn't just mean loss of the ability to walk, but other areas of your body are affected including cardiovascular, respiratory, bladder and bowel function, sexual function, temperature control and loss of touch and feeling. It is estimated that 9,000 people in Australia have a spinal cord injury.

World Diabetes Day

World Diabetes Day (WDD) is the primary global awareness campaign of the diabetes world. World Diabetes Day was created in 1991 by the International Diabetes Federation and the World Health Organization in response to growing concerns about the escalating health threat that diabetes now poses. It engages millions of people worldwide in diabetes advocacy and awareness.

The Conference is held annually and significantly assists the AAG in furthering its mission which is 'to expand knowledge on ageing with the purpose of improving the experience of ageing’.
